“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” -C.G. Jung
Making the choice to start a therapeutic journey which allows you to explore change and your needs in life is a big decision. Putting forth the time and effort to invest in your personal growth can be both exciting and daunting. One of the most important parts of this endeavor is to be paired with a mental health provider that is right for you. I believe a therapeutic relationship is one where both sides collaborate to help you on your path to growth and self-
As a clinician, I have worked with individuals on a variety of needs including; one’s sense of self, life goals, relationships, impulsivity struggles, and working to shape the narrative of one’s life experience. I have a passion for helping people find their voice and courage to show up for their lives the way in which they have always dreamed.
I work with clients who vary in age, gender, social location, and culture. I specialize working with those that have complex trauma histories and are attempting to navigate a myriad of life circumstances, as well as those who struggle with impulsivity, behavioral patterns and addiction. Clients I see often are struggling with manifestations of anxiety, depression, suicidality, mood disorders, codependency, strained relationships, and are seeking coping skills. Many identify as part of LGBTQ+ community, I help with the exploration of gender identity, sexuality, culture and safety.
I also work with health care professionals and those that work in service roles for their community. Knowing how to navigate the nuances of these fields and the unique stressors that come with the territory, I am able to come alongside these individuals and help increase their coping skills and stress management. Embarking on this journey can be exceedingly rewarding when you are open and able to engage in the process.
