Getting Started
When you come in for an in-person appointment, your therapist will greet you in the waiting room, and then start the wonderful process of getting to know you and helping you to feel better. Please bring your insurance card and photo ID (our insurance companies ask that we verify identity).
Some people like to arrive a few minutes early to settle in, relax and gather their thoughts and feelings, questions and experiences to bring into the session.
For a virtual appointment, you will be sent an unique video link through our client portal, TherapyAppointment, via text and email at the time of your appointment. You will click on your link, join a virtual waiting room, and meet with your therapist virtually.
At the beginning of the session, your therapist will collect your payment if you have one. Most sessions last about 55 minutes.

Our friendly care coordinators will ask about your health insurance and get the details so we can check your benefits and let you know what to expect in advance. They will also ask for what you are looking for in counseling so they can match you with a therapist best suited for your needs. They will answer any questions you may have so you feel like you’re ready to get started with your new therapist!
Our care coordinators will schedule an intake appointment with one of our therapists at a time that is convenient for you and send you an email with all the important information you will need for your appointment with information on:
