Angelica Amaya
My name is Angelica Amaya, and I am licensed in both Oregon and Washington. I began my career of 28 years working with children, families, adults with developmental disabilities and in community mental health. In recent years, I worked as a medical social worker in home health supporting patients coping with their illnesses and providing bereavement support to patients and their families in hospice and palliative care. I have also provided grief support to those who are mourning a loss of a pet.
In my current role as a psychotherapist, I help clients with anxiety, depression, and going through life transitions. I also have extensive knowledge of narcissist personality disorder and have helped those who have had past trauma with someone in their life who was a narcissist.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, hiking, eating at local restaurants, attending festivals, and going on road trips with my dogs.
