Lesley Muenzen
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over fifteen years of experience specializing in trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. I offer personalized and effective psychotherapy customized for you and a commitment to help transform your life.
The relationship between a therapist and a client is essential to successful therapy. I work with older adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds across ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and spiritual traditions. I’m committed and passionate about creating an inclusive and safe space for all.
Together we will work to develop the insights and skills you will need to cope more effectively. I will be there to provide support and practical tools to assist you in meeting your goals. My style is interactive, positive and warm, while also providing honest feedback.
I utilize multiple evidenced based interventions including cognitive behavioral, relational, and psychodynamic approaches. I’ve also received specialized training in both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting, which allows clients to reprocess previous trauma and expedite their healing.
